Over 50 Years of Commitment to High Quality Care

In 1960, Benedict and Angela Cipponeri embarked on a mission to fill a genuine healthcare need in the community.  The pursuit of their passion to provide exceptional and professional elder care in the Central Valley culminated in the founding of Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center.

“As a teenager, I was given the responsibility of providing care for an elderly great-uncle.  It was through that experience that I came to understand the challenges of providing compassionate care.  I knew in my heart that this was a labor of love.  Operating a nursing home seemed a natural course for me to follow.”   Benedict V. Cipponeri, (1933-2013) Founder of Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center.

A half century later, Evergreen continues to demonstrate excellence in providing the highest quality medical care in a skilled nursing facility.  With a 175-bed capacity, and a top rate staff of over 200 employees, Evergreen has a rehabilitation program that is highly individualized for both inpatients and outpatients, with a full range of therapies over seen by physicians. Evergreen utilizes a state-of-the-art electronic medical charting system.

Evergreen has an outstanding Activity Department where residents enjoy inviting and stimulating social activities in a warm and pleasant home-like environment. Beautiful courtyards and gardening boxes enhance the residents living environment. In addition, resident rooms are equipped with televisions, and large-screen televisions are located in the dining rooms and family lounge areas.
